WRAPPING UP IN DOBLE PLAID

Just a quick post from me today, to share this look it was so popular on Instagram. Follow along with my travel posts you also get some inspo from TRAVEL MY COUNTRY IN STYLE  and  GREY IS THE NEW BLACK . I hope these helpful hints will be of value for all of you to travel in style. 

Wrapping up rainy day in doble plaid. I love this shirt from JACHS NY the blue is very intense and  so warm. I can wear it with a tee or a turtleneck sweater underneath or just the shirt as I want to show you in a dress up look. Stay tunned. 😉

As you have been in my previous posts, when I travel I always choose comfy clothes and put accessories on. The plaid scarf/blanket and the hat give a chic touch to this casual look. Ripped boyfriends jeans are mandatory as well as layers if you travel on Fall/Winter.

Esta camisa de JACHS NY me encanta por muchas razones. Tiene un azul muy intenso y favorecedor y es muy calentita. La puedes llevar con una camiseta debajo y abierta como en este look, o con un jersey de cuello alto. También cerrada y combinada con prendas más formales como os enseñaré en breve. Estar atentos! 😉

Como habéis podido ver en estas últimas entradas cuando viajo siempre elijo prendas cómodas y el toque chic se lo dan los complementos. La bufanda manta y el sombrero le dan un giro al estilismo. Nada más fácil y con mejores resultados. Los vaqueros desgastados son de uso obligado para mí y estos boyfriend que llevo son de lo más cómodo. Las leggins también son otra prenda que me gusta llevar en los viajes sobre todo cuando voy en avión.

GREY IS THE NEW BLACK

Irurtzun and Lekunberri were the second stop of our road trip. Located in the valley of Araquil in Navarra. The breathtaking landscape is present throughout the circuit. We're  ready in the morning to get the feel of this valley. We should take a gentle stroll over its many trails, while contemplating all that surrounds you on the way. But it didn't stop raining all day!! No panic! We changed the plans and make some shots of my look indoor and have a relaxing afternoon in the Spa. Woopee! 😁

Because we couldn't go out for hiking trip I chose a cozy chic outfit to enjoy the amazing lunch at the hotel. This was a real outfit.  I wore it to go out with my travel booties, parka and umbrella 😝  The same ones I was wearing on my previous post Travel my Country in Style.   Fur vest and fluffy sweater adding my favourites lace up heels.  All grey shades... Lately is one of my favorites options. Elegant, neat and brighter than black. Grey is the new black. Isn't it?

Nuestra segunda parada del viaje fue en el valle de Araquil (Arakil), en la Comunidad Foral de Navarra. Entre Pamplona, San Sebastián y Vitoria. Teníamos previsto hacer unas rutas de senderismo por Irurtzun y Lekunberri pero amaneció lloviendo y no paró en todo el día. Ante las inclemencias del tiempo no puedes hacer nada... Cambio de planes! Un día relajado disfrutando las delicias culinarias del hotel y sacando algunas fotos del look. Por la tarde vino la mejor parte: Sesión de Spa! Yupiii! 😁

Como no pudimos hacer senderimo elegí un look cómodo y chic para sacar unas fotos en el hotel. Este look lo llevé para salir pero con botas, la trenka que habéis visto en el post anterior  Travel my Country in Style,  y paraguas 😜 .  Chaleco de pelo con jersey suavecito y mis zapatos de ante anudados, un #MustHave esta temporada. Los diferentes tonos en gris y el blanco son una de mis combinaciones favoritas ultimamente. Es elegante y luminoso. El gris es el nuevo negro, no os parece?

Hola amig@s!! Por fin es viernes! Qué ganas que llegara el finde!!

Morning!! Thanks God today is Friday!!! I need a rest this week!!!

Y qué mejor entrada para relajarnos frente al fin de semana que una selección de imágenes de Roma que tenía muchas ganas de compartir con vosotr@s!. Hace un par de semanas que estuvimos, y ya la echo de menos...!!! Es una ciudad preciosa y os recomiendo que la visitéis si no habéis estado aún. Hay imágenes de Ciudad del Vaticano, de Roma y algunas tomas de los días que estuvimos allí y los looks que llevé. Espero que os gusten! Me gusta llevar prendas cómodas y calzado adecuado para caminar y caminar... Y seguir caminando!! jajaja. Nos encanta recorrer las ciudades a pie!!! Así que os dejo tres estilismos diferentes pero con el denominador común  la comodidad.

Best way to relaxing in front of the weekend that sharing with you an images selection of Rome! We just be there a couple of weeks ago and I missing  a lot!!... It's a so beautiful city, romantic and I recommend you visiting if you haven't been yet. You can find pics of Vatican City, Rome and some of the outfits I was wearing during this trip... Hope you like it!!! When I traveling I like to wear comfy clothes ans shoes suitable for walking , more and more...hahaha. We love walking through  the cities we visiting is the best way for us!! So I show you three different  comfy basic outfits for travel.

Happy Friday to everyone!!! The week is almost over...  Part of this  week I was traveling,  and one day was bank holiday in my city... And here we are on Friday again!! 

 

Vuelvo con la sección de Street Style que comencé con mi viaje a NYC, aquí , que tuvo gran aceptación por vuestra parte. Así que hoy os dejo con algunos de los looks que pude fotografíar en las calles (y el metro) de Roma. No tengo tantas fotos como en el SS de NYC ,  he de deciros muchos se me escaparon al objetivo bien porque los veía de lejos o porque claramente te dabas cuenta que no ibas a poder fotografiarlos... Como las señoras de mayor edad. Si, la verdad que me impresionó la elegancia con que visten las señoras mayores y muchos hombres... Pero para la próxima vez pienso ir en plan paparazzi jajaja y traeros muchas mas!!! Disfrutad de las fotos y espero vuestros comentarios!

I'm back with Street Style section I started on my last trip to NYC, here, which was very popular on your part. So today I leave you with some of the looks I could shoot in the streets (and subway) in Rome. I have not many photos this time, but I must to say,  some escape of my camera lens,  and others you see clearly away and you realize that won't able to shoot them ... As older ladies, and some men as well...   Yes, true elegance! They impressed me greatly... Next time I plan to be a paparazzi (LOL) and bring you many more!!! Fontana de Trevi / Trevi Fountain

Nosotros ya estamos por aquí. Cansados, pero encantados de los días tan estupendos que hemos pasado en Roma y todo lo que hemos disfrutado allí! Hoy os dejo con imágenes de la ciudad, de todo aquello que capté con el objetivo de la cámara y que me llamaba la atención... Veréis monumentos pero también cosas curiosas... como las máscaras venecianas de una tienda preciosa que encontramos o los motocarros que llevaban a un grupo de chicas en una despedida de soltera... Espero que disfrutéis de las fotos y os guste El paseo por Roma!!!

We're already here. Tired but so happy with the wonderful time we spent in Rome!!! We have enjoyed a lot!!!  Today I leave you some pics of the city. Images that caught my attention... Will see monuments  but also curious things ... Venetian masks, as a beautiful shop we find or motorbike, carrying a group of girls at a bachelorette party ... Vacations in Rome

Hola a todos!!!  Saludos desde Roma!!

Hi folks!! Greatings from Rome!!! 

Este viaje a sido algo inexperado y precipitado... Lo decidimos el pasado jueves y volamos el viernes a mediodía... Tenía muchas ganas de venir a Roma y no quise perder esta oportunidad, por lo que aquí estamos en la Ciudad Eterna y encantada de todo lo que estamos conociendo... Hoy os dejo con algunas imágenes de la visita al Coliseo, Arco de Trajano y Monumento Nacional a Victor Manuel II. Pasamos un día genial disfrutando de la cultura, con una temperatura estupenda y de algún que otro "placer prohibido" ... Los gelatos italianos!!! Son una de mis debilidades y os aseguro que si estuviérais aquí, caeríais en la tentación conmigo!! Espero que os gusten las fotos y el look que elegí para mi primer día en Roma!

This trip has been something rash and unexpected ... We decided last Thursday and flew on Friday... I really wanted to come to Rome and I didn't want to miss this opportunity so, here we are, in the Eternal City and delighted everything we know ... Today I leave you with some pictures of our visit to the Coliseum, Arch of Trajan and National Monument to Victor Emmanuel II. We had a  great day enjoying culture, nice weather and some forbidden "pleasures" ... The Italian ice-cream are one of my weaknesses!!!  I assure you if you were here with me would fall into temptation! Hope you like the pics and the look I chose for my first day in Rome!

A walk through history

Buenos días a tod@s!!! Ya estamos a viernes y esta semana se nos ha hecho más cortita!! Muchas ciudades de Europa han celebrado el 1 de mayo el  "Día del Trabajo", además en mi ciudad era fiesta local... ☺!!!

Happy Friday to everyone!! Here we are again,  and this week it was so short!! Many countries in Europe celebrate on May 1st, "Workers Day" , also in my city yesterday was bank holiday. So that,  I'm enjoying a few days off... ☺!!!

Las fotos para el look de hoy las hemos tomado en una pequeña ciudad muy próxima a mi localidad, pero que tiene mucha historia. Alcalá de Henares. Hacía un día precioso, sol, calor y el entorno acompañaba... Dimos un paseo por el casco antiguo, disfrutando de los rincones y de la gastronomía de la zona...Para el look elegí una falda de guipur y una camisa bordada. Pero ya sabéis lo que me gusta combinar prendas muy lady con otras más cañeras... Así que le añadí la biker de tachas (ya la vistéis aquí) y el clutch para equilibrar...jeje. Qué os parece el conjunto? Cómo lo combaríais vosotras?  Espero que disfrutéis las fotos !!

The shooting of today's look was taken at a small town close to my city, but full of history!! Alcalá de Henares. It was a sunny day and the weather pretty hot! We took some pics for the look and walk around the old Town. We enjoyed the old streets, the history and also the wonderful cuisine.

I was wearing a guipure skirt and a embroidered shirt , but you know, how I love to mix formal or Lady clothes with others more casual... For that, I put my studded jacket ( you could see here) and bag on,  to balance the outfit...  How do you combine this clothes? Hope you enjoy the pics!!!
