GREY IS THE NEW BLACK

Irurtzun and Lekunberri were the second stop of our road trip. Located in the valley of Araquil in Navarra. The breathtaking landscape is present throughout the circuit. We're  ready in the morning to get the feel of this valley. We should take a gentle stroll over its many trails, while contemplating all that surrounds you on the way. But it didn't stop raining all day!! No panic! We changed the plans and make some shots of my look indoor and have a relaxing afternoon in the Spa. Woopee! 😁

Because we couldn't go out for hiking trip I chose a cozy chic outfit to enjoy the amazing lunch at the hotel. This was a real outfit.  I wore it to go out with my travel booties, parka and umbrella 😝  The same ones I was wearing on my previous post Travel my Country in Style.   Fur vest and fluffy sweater adding my favourites lace up heels.  All grey shades... Lately is one of my favorites options. Elegant, neat and brighter than black. Grey is the new black. Isn't it?

Nuestra segunda parada del viaje fue en el valle de Araquil (Arakil), en la Comunidad Foral de Navarra. Entre Pamplona, San Sebastián y Vitoria. Teníamos previsto hacer unas rutas de senderismo por Irurtzun y Lekunberri pero amaneció lloviendo y no paró en todo el día. Ante las inclemencias del tiempo no puedes hacer nada... Cambio de planes! Un día relajado disfrutando las delicias culinarias del hotel y sacando algunas fotos del look. Por la tarde vino la mejor parte: Sesión de Spa! Yupiii! 😁

Como no pudimos hacer senderimo elegí un look cómodo y chic para sacar unas fotos en el hotel. Este look lo llevé para salir pero con botas, la trenka que habéis visto en el post anterior  Travel my Country in Style,  y paraguas 😜 .  Chaleco de pelo con jersey suavecito y mis zapatos de ante anudados, un #MustHave esta temporada. Los diferentes tonos en gris y el blanco son una de mis combinaciones favoritas ultimamente. Es elegante y luminoso. El gris es el nuevo negro, no os parece?

TOUR MY COUNTRY IN STYLE

Last week I fulfilled one of my dreams... Watch the colourful forests in Autumn. I've always dreamed about visit the West Virginia (USA) forest and sincerelly, I don't forget the idea to visit them in a future, but we had the chance to make a road trip in my own country and such a surprise! We find out that the beauty is everywhere (forgive me the Virgina residents 😜 I promise to visit you soon) and sometimes is close to you.

Our first stop was OLITE. We spent a couple of days in this dreamy old town. Some of you who follow my Instagram Stories could follow along my adventure in real time. 

We lodge at PARADOR PRINCIPE DE VIANA of OLITE , monumental and historic hotel. The town's Parador is located within stone walls that conceal medieval treasures, in a section of the majestic Palace-Castle of Olite, which has been declared a national monument. 

I chose a casual cozy outfit to stroll the city. Ripped boyfriends jeans are my favorites when traveling and cozy sweater. The days are colder in the north. The plaid blanket/scarf and sneackers complete the ensemble. You can be in style with warm and cozy looks just adding the right accessories.

 

La semana pasada he podido ver cumplido uno de mis sueños... Ver los bosques con todo su colorido otoñal. Siempre había soñado con poder ir al Oeste de Virgina y disfrutar de ese mágico espectáculo que nos ofrece la naturaleza. No he abandonado esa idea todavía tengo intención de hacer un viaje por esa zona en un futuro próximo. Pero mientras llega nos surgió la posibilidad de hacer un viaje en coche por el norte de España, Navarra y Donosti y qué sorpresa! La belleza está en todos los rincones y a veces muy cerca de nosotros. 

Nuestra primera parada fué Olite. PARADOR PRINCIPE DE VIANA de OLITE , hotel monumental e histórico. Entre los muros de piedra que esconden rincones medievales, en parte del majestuoso Palacio-Castillo Primitivo de Olite, declarado Monumento Nacional, se ubica el Parador de la localidad.

Para pasear y disfrutar de la ciudad (ya habíamos estado pero en verano) elegí un look casual y abrigado. En esta época en el norte hace mucho frío y durante el viaje nos nevó en Soria. Unos boyfriends desgastados y un jersey de lana son mis compañeros de viaje. Para darle un toque trendy una bufanda/ manta de cuadros y mis New Balance. Puedes ir cómoda y abrigada sin perder el estilo eligiendo los complementos adecuados. 

We have a delicious dinner at the Parador and later chilling at one of the exclusive Reading Rooms. I felt like a princess guys! Was magic! I couldn't resist to take some indoor photos of my formal look.

Cenamos en el Parador, donde la gastronomía es altamente reconocida y estuvo totalmente a la altura de las expectativas. Después pasamos a uno de los exclusivos salones de lectura a tomar café y charlar mientras escuchas música. Me sentía como una princesa!  No pude resistir la tentación y sacamos unas fotos en el interior del look de la cena.  

The best way to start your day is having buffet breakfast while you listen classical music... I was in heaven! 💓

La mejor manera de comenzar tu día es disfrutar del desayuno buffet mientras escuchas música clásica... Estaba en las nubes! 💓

I love wear some new trends in each season, that's why  my blog is named Lady Trends. But sometimes you just to want to reach for timeless pieces in a classy and fashionable way. Who can live without music? I make this question to my #Instagram  followers early this week and were almost unanimous. ' I can't ! they said'. To be honest guys,  I neither could live without my daily moto. 

HEADING TO MY PLACE :: V-NECK SWEATER

Here we're again. After several months off (exactly eight months ...)...Wow! Can't believe how fast the time flies babes, I dediced to come back blogging and one of the reasons is because of all of you. I'm so grateful and thrilled for all the love and support that you gave me last months, and still do on social networks. Currently on  Instagram, and Twitter we are a great community! 

Aquí estamos de nuevo. Después de varios meses de inactividad (exactamente 8 meses...) Uff! Como pasa el tiempo! Como os decía, después de este largo periodo, he decidido volver a publicar y una de las razones sois vosotros. Estoy muy emocionada y agradecida por el cariño y apoyo que he recibido durante estos meses en redes sociales y que todavía sigo recibiendo, sois increíbles!  En  Instagram,  y  Twitter   ya somos una gran comunidad muy interactiva y creativa y me hace muy feliz, de verdad!
